Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for server, network, and equipment-related issues.
• Perform remote diagnostics and fault isolation to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Provide configuration guidance and technical support to onsite teams.
• Conduct log analysis and ticket reviews to support issue investigation and resolution.
• Access systems remotely (when authorized) to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with Level 1 (L1) onsite support teams for issue resolution and escalation handling.
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to incidents, changes, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and contribute to continuous system improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in server troubleshooting, including hardware diagnostics, basic networking, and remote access tools.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including commands such as ipconfig, ifconfig, and remote console/KVM troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze system logs, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Familiarity with RAID configuration, BMC/iDRAC/iLO, and firmware upgrades for hardware components.
• Experience handling Level 2 (L2) technical support and coordinating with Level 3 (L3) or vendor support teams.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as VLAN, subnetting, DNS, ping, and traceroute.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, including Reason for Outage (RFO) and post-incident documentation.
• CIDB certification is an added advantage.
• Willing to support data centre operations in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
