Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ETL Operations Engineer to support and manage enterprise data integration platforms within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ETL operations, production support, incident management, and troubleshooting across large-scale data environments.

This role requires close collaboration with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth data processing, system stability, and timely resolution of production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support ETL production environments, ensuring high availability and performance of data integration workflows.
• Perform L2/L3 production support activities, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Monitor ETL jobs, batch processing, and data pipelines to ensure successful execution within SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot failures related to ETL processes, databases, scheduling tools, and downstream applications.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams during deployments, releases, and system enhancements.
• Support operational activities such as job reruns, recovery processes, and environment validations.
• Prepare operational reports, incident documentation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Ensure compliance with banking operational standards, security, and audit requirements.
• Participate in on-call support and weekend support activities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in ETL Operations / Production Support within banking or financial services industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools/frameworks such as Informatica, Apache NiFi, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience handling L2/L3 production support in mission-critical environments.
• Good understanding of ETL workflows, data warehousing, batch processing, and data integration concepts.
• Experience in troubleshooting ETL failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with scheduling and monitoring tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
