Job Purpose

Prepare Reports to Team Lead Non-Financial Institutions, Analytics & Subsidiary Accounting team to deliver the relevant statutory & regulatory reports and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Timeliness and Quality Reporting

• Ensure all the internal timeline set by TL are met
• Ensure comments from TL are attended and follow up until cleared/resolved
• Ensure timely escalation to TL if encounter any issues impacting deadlines
• Prepare journals/reports accurately and timely

2. Operational Efficiency & Effectiveness

• Excellent Services to Customers
• To ensure to response within the agreed timeline given
• Review and advise on accounting treatment matters with stakeholders upon clearance with Unit Head/HOD

3. Continuous Improvement

• To reassess current process to seek for any improvement, if any
• Understand the SUM/SAM from auditor/Gtax/BFA/etc, monitor and to minimize the gap, eg impairment assessment, tax comp, etc

Job Specification

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in finance or accounting
• Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of combined experiences in finance operation within a bank

Technical/Functional skills

• Financial Systems (ERP)
• Financial and Accounting Standards knowledge inc. BNM Guidelines
• Problem solving skills
• MS Project and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Non-Technical Skills

· Strong communication skills written and verbal

· Independent Team player
