Be part of the client’s DMZ network infrastructure support team providing operations support and maintenance for core network infrastructure and providing expertise in supporting AWS cloud networking.
Conduct troubleshooting, fault analysis, problem resolution, regular patching, performance optimization, etc.
Manage and track incidents through to resolution, and escalating issues as necessary.
Maintain and update documentation and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations as well as completeness and adherence to the required security policies, standard and guidelines.
Provide standby support (rotation basis) to respond to critical incidents reported by users.
Requirements:
At least 6-8 years of working experience in Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), with comprehensive understanding of core networks, cloud networking and related systems.
Has AWS operational experience in the capacity of System Administrator or Cloud Engineer.
Certification in AWS Cloud Practitioner or SysOps Administrator (Associate) or Solution Architect (Associate) is highly preferred. Those with Advanced Networking (Specialty) will have added advantage.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewall products, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, TCP/IP networking, etc. Certification in CCNA will have added advantage.
Ability to perform network troubleshooting, diagnose and resolve cloud and network access problems.
Prior working experience in defence organisations or government ministries requiring security clearance will have an advantage.
