Roles & Responsibilities
Provide all-rounded legal and administrative support to the contracts team.
Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, conduct legal research, and compile court papers, bundles, authorities, and submissions to support litigation, transactional, or compliance matters.
Manage document review and organization, including paginating, redacting, and indexing documents; maintain electronic document databases and physical archives for efficient tracking.
Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including liaising with clients, subcontractors, opposing counsel, courts, and internal departments regarding supporting documents.
Handle case and matter management by maintaining case files, managing calendars and deadlines, tracking discovery, and coordinating with clients, witnesses, and experts.
Handle correspondence, including responding to emails and letters with all stakeholders, as required.
Assist with any other matters or projects as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Law/Legal Studies or a Degree in Law/Paralegal Studies.
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or in-house setting is preferred.
Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in pursuing a legal career are also encouraged to apply.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and word-processing skills.
Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Able to prioritize tasks, work both independently and as part of a team, multitask effectively, and perform well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate initiative, commitment to excellence, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to new challenges and changing priorities. Able to follow directions and procedures.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
