RESPONSIBILITIES
Advanced Process Engineering & Modeling
- Develop and apply steady‑state and dynamic process simulation models to support conceptual design, process optimization, and debottlenecking initiatives.
- Perform energy, yield, and resource optimization studies for chemical manufacturing processes.
- Support the development and evaluation of new or improved process concepts in collaboration with manufacturing, project, and R&D teams.
Digital & Data‑Driven Engineering
- Apply advanced digital methods, including model‑based workflows and data‑driven approaches, to improve process understanding and engineering productivity.
- Support the development, improvement, and standardization of process modeling tools and methodologies.
- Analyze and interpret simulation and operational data to support informed technical decisions.
Projects & Technical Support
- Support capital projects and plant modifications through process design input, model validation, and technical reviews.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams(process, mechanical, piping, automation, safety).
- Provide technical input during project phases from early concept through implementation support.
Knowledge Transfer & Collaboration
- Act as a technical interface between regional teams and global engineering or process development functions.
- Share best practices and technical knowledge to strengthen regional process engineering capability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional experience in advanced process engineering, process modeling, or conceptual process design within an industrial engineering or technology environment.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with process simulation and modeling tools (e.g. Aspen or equivalent platforms).
- Experience in energy, yield, and process optimization for chemical or energy‑intensive processes.
- Familiarity with digital engineering, data‑driven analysis, or model‑based workflows.
- Experience supporting capital or expansion projects through process design, simulation, and technical review.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical models into practical recommendations.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
