About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to lead and support complex Data Centre Network Infrastructure projects, including large-scale network migrations and application deployment initiatives within enterprise banking environments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Data Centre Networking, Firewalls, and Infrastructure Security, with hands-on experience across Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, and VMware NSX technologies.

This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, compliance, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of network infrastructure delivery projects.
• Design, implement, and support complex Data Centre Network Infrastructure solutions.
• Perform migration of network infrastructure and application traffic through secured firewall environments.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade routing, switching, and firewall platforms.
• Support implementation and operational activities involving Cisco ACI, NX-OS, and IOS-XE environments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, security policies, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, project managers, and operations teams throughout project delivery.
• Perform technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover activities.
• Provide technical expertise in infrastructure network and security domains including routing, switching, segmentation, and firewall policies.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues.
• Participate in infrastructure enhancement, optimization, and modernization initiatives.

Technical RequirementsNetworking & Infrastructure

• Minimum 10 years of practical experience implementing complex Data Centre Network Infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in:
• Routing & Switching
• Cisco Catalyst
• Cisco Nexus
• Minimum 5 years of expert-level hands-on experience in enterprise network environments.
• Strong understanding of:
• TCP/IP
• Ethernet protocols
• IP-based network architecture
• IGP & BGP routing protocols

Hands-On TechnologiesRouting & Switching

• Cisco NX-OS
• Cisco IOS-XE
• Cisco ACI

Firewalls & Security

• Fortinet Firewalls
• Juniper Firewalls

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working on large-scale enterprise network migration projects.
• Experience managing application flow migration across firewalled environments.
• Exposure to banking or highly regulated industries is advantageous.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
