DESCRIPTION :

Join our mission to usher in a new era of growth and market leadership for the Manpower brand within the Engineering, Energy, and Manufacturing sectors across the Southeast Asia Pacific region. As our General Manager, your mandate will be to:

• Spearhead business expansion and elevate brand presence, focusing on volume growth and profitability enhancement through strategic services model and pricing management.
• Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the Manpower brand, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
• Innovate and deploy systems and process enhancements aimed at operational excellence, evidenced by productivity gains and business scale-up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

Business Development

• Assemble and steer a high-performance sales and business development team to secure above-industry growth rates.
• Strategically broaden our client base focusing primarily on the convenience segment, while simultaneously deepening ties with our Enterprise clients, especially withing the Engineering, Energy, and Manufacturing sectors.
• Inspire and cultivate a vibrant sales culture, championing team collaboration whilst nurturing individual talent and career growth.

Delivery and Operations

• Utilize cutting-edge technology and best practices to foster a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
• Oversee the delivery team, ensuring ManpowerGroup’s commitment to premium placement services in met by accurately aligning talent with client needs within our sector focus.
• Enhance operational efficiencies by streamlining placement processes from talent acquisition to onboarding and support.
• Establish a seamless redeployment process to ensure business continuity and client satisfaction.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationship, positioning Manpower as a trusted advisor for workforce solutions.

• Leverage ManpowerGroup resources to monitor and evaluate key performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of evolving industry trends, labor laws, and compliance requirements to mitigate risks and maintain thought leadership.

THE SUCESSFUL GENERAL MANAGER :

• Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, ENGINEERING is preferable, or a related field is typically required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, is highly preferred.
• Demonstrable leadership experience in Staffing, HR Services, BPO, Engineering Services or Logistics sectors with a focus on business development and recruitment delivery. Experience within the Engineering and Energy sectors is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of managing business with a turnover not less than 50M USD, achieving predictable growth in revenue and profitability.
• A visionary with a robust background in leading major transformation initiatives, skilled in change management processes.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to make holistic business decisions and influence cross-business unit change.
• Exemplary leadership skills, with a capacity to motivate, mentor, and drive teams through periods of change.
• Recognized a thought leader, demonstrating substantial expertise in operations and delivery.
• Ethical and Professional Conduct: Demonstrated commitment to high ethical and professional standards.
