Overview
We are representing a reputable organization within the vertical transportation industry that is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee installation activities and site coordination works. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth project execution, maintaining safety and quality standards, and coordinating effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site activities, installation progress, and coordination works across assigned projects
- Conduct site surveys to identify construction issues and recommend practical resolutions
- Liaise and coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders on-site
- Arrange and coordinate equipment delivery schedules to ensure timely project execution
- Supervise subcontractor installation works and ensure workmanship meets required standards
- Attend project and coordination meetings as required
- Perform quality checks and ensure all installation works comply with project specifications and company standards
- Monitor project timelines and ensure works are completed according to planned schedules
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and relevant authority requirements
- Report damaged, defective, or short-shipped parts promptly to the person-in-charge
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards proactively
- Support testing and commissioning activities where required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering or site supervision capacity
- Prior experience within the lift/elevator industry, particularly in installation, testing, and commissioning works, will be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of site coordination, construction processes, and project execution
- Familiar with interfacing works involving systems such as Card Access Systems and CCTV integration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple parties
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a construction site environment
