Job Scope:

• Collect and sort library materials by libraries, categories, and sub-categories

• Prepare sorted materials for delivery to libraries, including pairing packed boxes to designated pallets, stretch-wrapping pallets, and updating stock cards

• Maintain records of packed library materials by categories

• Prepare Delivery Orders and ensure the correct number of pallets are released to the transporter

• Pick and pack library materials according to provided pick lists and ensure materials are in good physical condition

• Scan library materials for delivery and pack them into bundles as indicated in the pick lists

• Print mailing labels and ensure packing and labelling are done accurately to avoid delivery errors

• Sort returned library materials into the respective package numbers and shelve them correctly on racks

• Operate pallet jacks safely to transfer and move pallets for storage and delivery collection
