岗位职责

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mandarin teacher and coordinator, conducting lessons

  • It should also be noted that the candidate will be responsible for training Mandarin teachers for the entire school, and for ensuring that Mandarin teaching programmes are adapted and harmonised from Kindergarten through to Baccalaureate Level, as well as coordinate teamwork and promote interdisciplinary links with other subjects.

  • Designing and implementing learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards

  • Convey subject knowledge

  • Designing and implementing methods of assessment of students' learning, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners

  • Ensuring that students acquire skills including capability and know-how, among others

  • Contributing to the school's operation and teamwork

  • Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and assess their achievements

  • Using educational softwares to support learning

  • Exercising specific functions such as coordination and mentoring, among others

SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • French Ministry of Education degree holder

  • Deep understanding of the subject and the curriculum

  • Experience in teaching in Middle and High school, as well as with teacher training

  • Knowledge of the French curriculum

  • Organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Responsiveness and availability

  • Adaptability and benevolence

  • Very good writing and speaking skills

  • Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful

  • Experience with coordination for the students career orientation plan would be a strong advantage

  • Good knowledge of educational softwares

  • Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students and colleagues

  • Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students and colleagues

  • Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary manner
