Receive and register drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, vendor submissions, certificates, manuals, and other project deliverables from designers, consultants, vendors, class, owner, client, and other external parties.
Ensure documents are correctly named, numbered, filed, stored, and retrievable in accordance with the project filing structure and document control procedure.
Track issue dates and required review periods, follow up with Project Engineers for completion, and highlight overdue or critical pending items to the Project Manager.
Retrieve completed review comments, compiled comment sheets, response forms, or marked-up documents from Project Engineers after their review and consolidation are completed.
Upon approval or issue-for-construction, transmit the latest approved drawings and construction documents to the relevant yard production teams and internal departments.
Maintain records of all approved or issued-for-construction documents issued to production, including revision number, document status, issue date, recipient department, and transmittal reference.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Marine Studies
3 years experience in Marine or related industry
Microsoft Words, Excel, Share Point and Power Point
Understand Basic Shipbuilding Process
Required to travel to other countries for meeting occasionally.
