We're Hiring: Associate – Interpretation Support (WFH)!

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Associate to provide interpretation support in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to facilitate communication effectively across various platforms.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Work Mode: Flexible office & remote
Role: Associate – Interpretation Support


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, meaning-for-meaning consecutive interpretation over the phone
  • Support interpretation across industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, emergency lines, and related sectors
  • Maintain professionalism, tone, and pace during live calls
  • Follow interpreter protocols, company policies, confidentiality requirements, and industry ethics
  • Remain neutral during interpretation without adding personal opinions or assumptions
  • Build and maintain strong terminology knowledge relevant to interpretation use cases
  • Attend training sessions, quality reviews, coaching, and feedback discussions
  • Ensure reliable attendance and adherence to assigned work schedules
  • Handle urgent, stressful, or sensitive calls professionally and calmly
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection standards
  • Work independently while maintaining effective communication with supervisors and team members

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong listening, comprehension, and interpretation skills
  • Good understanding of cultural and linguistic differences
  • Ability to manage multiple call scenarios and adapt quickly
  • Professional and calm communication style, especially during sensitive or emergency calls
  • High attention to detail and interpretation accuracy
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following fields are preferred:

  • Interpretation / Translation
  • Healthcare industry
  • Media / Journalism
  • BPO / Contact Center / Customer Service

Qualification
  • SPM / High School Graduate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Candidates with comparable professional experience may also be considered

Experience Range

0 – 5 years experience
