Job Title: Environmental Manager – APAC Network

Job Duration: 12-Month Contract with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Are you experienced in environmental permitting and compliance within the telecom or infrastructure sectors? We’re seeking an APAC Network Environmental Manager to lead environmental assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage risks for network projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental impact assessments and permitting aligned with APAC and international directives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to meet project timelines.
• Review findings, provide guidance, and ensure compliance throughout project lifecycle.
• Manage environmental risks and obligations, supporting network installation and operations.
• Communicate environmental requirements across design, construction, and operational teams.
• Develop training and support the growth of the environmental program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in environmental assessments and permitting, especially in APAC.
• Proven track record with telecom or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%).

Preferred:

• Experience with fiber optics or subsea telecom projects.
• Knowledge of marine and coastal ecosystems.
• Managing permitting risks in joint investment projects.
