The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:
  • Driving high-impact projects, taking ownership of project resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives and their alignment with broader business goals.
  • End-to-end Project Management Office (PMO) activities for the rollout of strategic business initiatives.
  • Leveraging data and analytics to identify potential business opportunities, inform decision-making, and improve outcomes for overall business growth.
  • Problem-solving through comprehensive investigation, analysis, and solution design, while continually monitoring and reporting on key issues affecting business growth.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to lead and execute projects that support business objectives.
  • Engaging with senior leadership and key decision-makers to drive forward key growth initiatives for the business.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • Background in e-commerce or fast-paced tech start-ups is advantageous
  • Experience in consulting, private equity, or investment are welcome
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-driven with a proactive and hands-on approach to execution.
  • Hiring across seniorities, including fresh graduates - compensation and title to commensurate
