About Sip Sip
Sip Sip is an all-day café and bar in Singapore's CBD. By day, we serve specialty coffee and a curated food menu to the Chulia Street crowd. We opened in October 2024 and we're growing fast. If you care about good coffee and good energy, you'll fit right in.
The Role
We're looking for a Barista & All-Rounder to join our morning café team. You'll be making coffee, serving food, and keeping the floor running smoothly. This isn't a stand-behind-the-machine-and-pull-shots kind of role. You'll be across everything that makes the café experience work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving specialty coffee to a high standard
- Food service, running orders, and ensuring the dining experience is on point
- Opening duties, setup, and making sure the space is ready before doors open
- Keeping the floor clean, organised, and guest-ready throughout service
- Engaging with regulars and walk-ins, building the kind of warmth that brings people back
- Supporting inventory checks, restocking, and basic kitchen coordination
Who You Are
- 1 to 2 years of barista or café experience. You know your way around an espresso machine
- You take pride in the cup you serve. Latte art is a plus, consistency is a must
- You're friendly, present, and comfortable talking to guests, not just taking orders
- You're reliable. You show up on time, you don't cut corners, and you take ownership of your shift
- You move well under pressure. CBD mornings can be fast and you need to keep up without dropping the standard
- You're willing to do whatever needs doing. Coffee, food, clearing, restocking. No task is beneath you
