Overview

We seek a Merchandise Manager to lead product strategy and development for the company for both the retail and B2B operations.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of Singapore’s retail landscape and consumer behavior. He or she will play a key role in driving growth and aligning merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
·       Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, margin improvement, and market competitiveness

·       Plan and manage product assortment/development based on consumer demand and market trends

·       Analyze sales performance, inventory data and customer behavior to optimize product mix, pricing and inventory

·       Manage supplier sourcing, negotiation, and relationship development to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply

·       Responsible for the development of new merchandise from ideation to launch including concept, product design, sourcing, packaging and promotion

·       Lead pricing, promotion, and markdown strategies to maximize revenue and minimize excess inventory

·       Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure effective product launches and promotions

·       Oversee in-store merchandising standards, product placement, and display strategies to improve sales performance

·       Prepare reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management

Requirements
·       Degree or Diploma in relevant disciplines

·       With at least 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising and product development in Singapore esp in the lifestyle, fragrance, fashion industry

·       Strong experience in product sourcing, development, pricing strategy and inventory management

·       Proven track record in driving andimproving sales growth

·       Strong analytical and financial skillswith the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

·       Familiarity with retail systems,POS data analysis, and inventory management tools

·       Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders
