Job Description

• Execute established systems engineering processes to support successful project delivery
• Develop, maintain, and promote systems engineering standards, procedures, and best practices
• Author and manage technical documentation, including system and subsystem specifications
• Capture, manage, and maintain system requirements and technical baselines across project phases
• Support on-site testing and commissioning of automated material handling systems, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Partner with project managers to proactively identify and manage technical risks
• Build strong working relationships with customers and internal engineering stakeholders
• Promote innovation, safety management, and continuous improvement across the engineering group
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 3+ years of experience in the design and/or commissioning of warehouse automation, material handling systems, WMS/WCS, or order fulfillment solutions
• Solid understanding of systems engineering principles within multi-disciplinary project environments
• Strong knowledge of system design, material flow, and throughput concepts
• Experience delivering complex automated systems involving mechanical, electrical/controls, and software components
• Exposure to programming and database or data analytics concepts
• High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with reporting and analytics is an advantage
