Job Responsibilities
As a Test Technician, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring product quality. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing test sequences for units under test using company-provided platforms.
- Troubleshooting and debugging minor test failures.
- Generating detailed failure analysis reports as required.
- Assisting in failure analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of non-conforming products to determine root causes.
- Reading schematics, assembly drawings, and data sheets to perform tests, build fixtures, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Scheduling, completing, and documenting routine maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment.
- Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
- Organizing test tools and equipment before and after use according to standards.
- Maintaining 5S practices at test work benches and performing daily cleaning cycles of test fixtures.
- Executing test cycles in accordance with work instructions.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in a technical discipline.
- At least 1.5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
- Proficiency with LabVIEW, C++, Excel automation, and macros.
- Strong working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, especially RF matching networks and generators.
- Self-motivated and flexible, able to function in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
- Creative and analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across production, engineering, purchasing, and logistics.
- Commitment to 5S practices, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Solution-oriented mindset with high motivation to achieve goals.
