Defines, evaluates and continuously improves powder coating-, wet paint and other surface treatment processes and procedures in production in compliance with codes and standards
2nd level escalation and trouble-shooting of process issues in production
NPI/FA process development for critical parts, and transition of such parts into mass production, including monitoring of ramp-up production yield
Improve operational efficiency and develop cost reduction by identifying and re-engineering process bottlenecks in production
Ensure that painting equipment in production operate at optimum performance, and that the maintenance schedule for daily operations, equipment calibration and repair are properly implemented
Conduct periodic process validation for existing surface treatment subcons for their process stability, quality and improvement as require, and be responsible for supplier change notification.
Subject matter expert to develop further painting knowledge, advise on RFQ/NPIs, and be the main technical interface with customers
Provide technical support and training to painting personnel, fostering a skilled and knowledgeable workforce
Requirement
Degree/Diploma in Engineering
Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in Engineering.
Manufacturing process experience in Metal Fabrication.
