Full Time TRADE SURVEILLANCE SPECIALIST Jobs, in Ashford Benjamin Ltd. - Ricebowl

We are partnering with a leading global investment manager to recruit a key member for their Global Trade Surveillance team. This is a high-visible and critical role in a best-in-class global team, with the opportunity to establish and influence the control framework across the region.

Being part of global surveillance team, you will be responsible for APAC surveillance related matters with a focus on Trade Surveillance and act as a Trade Surveillance SME for APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide trade surveillance advisory for APAC region

• Conduct in-depth analysis of trade data, order activity, and other market information to detect and investigate suspicious trading behavior

• Develop and maintain comprehensive surveillance systems to identify potential market manipulation, insider trading, and other trading irregularities

• Review and design trade surveillance policies, procedure and framework

• Participate in automation, data analytic projects

• Extract and manipulate large datasets from various sources to support trade surveillance and analytical efforts

• Collaborate with trading, compliance, and legal teams to investigate and resolve identified issues

Qualifications:

• 3-10 years of experience in trade surveillance experience

• Strong programming skills, with knowledge of Python, SQL, or VBA

• Proficiency in data analysis, quantitative methods, and the use of surveillance/analytics tools

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing financial markets in Hong Kong and APAC

• Experience covering Fixed Income or Crypto product is a plus
