About the role
We are hiring (Assistant) System Engineers to join our VDI and infrastructure team, with a strong focus on on-prem enterprise infrastructure. You will be involved in end-to-end project delivery to data‑centre environments, virtualization platforms, VDI solutions, and identity‑related technologies.
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Endpoint Management for enterprise clients — primarily in the financial services and critical infrastructure sectors. These are hands-on delivery roles spanning the full project lifecycle, from design and deployment through to post-implementation support.
What you will do
Participate in the implementation, operation, support and maintenance of VDI and infrastructure solutions
Provide hands-on support for on-premise infrastructure environments, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms
Participate in deployment and administration of hypervisor platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix)
Support and maintain VDI platforms, such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, Omnissa(Vmware) Horizon, Sangfor aDesk, or equivalent
Assist in Identity and Access Management activities, including Active Directory and authentication integration
Support Privileged Access Management (PAM) related configurations and controls
Work with senior engineers on troubleshooting, incident resolution, system tuning, and issue resolution
Prepare technical documentation and assist in solution handover and BAU activities
Collaborate with presales, project, and support teams to deliver stable and secure solutions
What we're looking for
1–5 years of hands-on experience in system engineering, infrastructure or VDI roles, preferably at a System Integrator (SI) or IT distributor; Senior candidates with more experience will also be considered.
Hands on experience or strong exposure to on premise infrastructure environments
Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (e.g. VMware/ Hyper V/ Nutanix)
Experience in VDI platforms (e.g. Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, Omnissa(Vmware) Horizon, Sangfor aDesk), is highly preferred
Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience to Identity Management and PAM is preferred
Good understanding of Windows Server and basic networking concepts
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Team‑leading, mentoring, or project coordination experience is a plus
