Job Description: The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) Social Lab is a university-level policy research institute within the National University of Singapore. Social Lab is looking for a Project Operations Coordinator (1-year contract). The incumbent will liaise with clients, vendors, and freelance interviewers to fulfil project contractual obligations. This position will primarily support Social Lab’s data collection projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including various ministries, ensuring project success.
Monitor and deliver project-required reports and materials on time.
Oversee QC of fieldwork and data collection.
Manage interviewers’ workload and performance through task allocation, coordination, coaching, and issue resolution.
Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions.
Liaise with the IT team to program, deploy, and verify electronic questionnaires, and conduct UAT.
Work with the QC team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Track project progress and liaise with the team to meet deadlines and budgets.
Provide support and handle respondent's inquiries during and outside office hours, as necessary.
Deployed to support household survey administration and/or fieldwork quality checks, as required.
Any other tasks as deployed and required for project completion.
Qualifications
Diploma/degree holder; candidates with experience in public sector projects preferred.
Prior experience in project management is advantageous.
Experience in training (FT/PT/FL) staff is advantageous.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with IT systems and software such as SPSS is advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Experience with data collection, questionnaire design, and/or statistical software is advantageous.
