Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Johor Baharu for a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will provide medication counseling, dispense prescriptions accurately, and offer health advice to customers. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, managing inventory, maintaining proper storage of pharmaceutical products, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role also involves promoting wellness programs, supporting staff in daily pharmacy operations, and staying updated on new medications and healthcare advancements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in prescription validation, pharmaceutical care, and medication counseling
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and storage protocols for pharmaceutical products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and health partners
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription filling and record-keeping
• Familiarity with health promotion, wellness programs, and regulatory compliance standards
• Relevant certifications and licensure as required by Malaysian pharmacy regulations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is an advantage
