About the Role

Our client is a technology-driven company operating in the maritime and automation industry. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a Technical Trainer to support training system development and standardisation across operational teams.

This is a newly created role focused on classroom-based training and SOP development to support a growing technical workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Training System Development & Delivery

• Design and implement structured training programmes, including onboarding, certification, and technical upskilling

• Develop training materials, course content, and assessment criteria

• Conduct training sessions and ensure effective knowledge transfer

• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programmes

Training Documentation & SOP Development

• Develop and maintain training SOPs, manuals, and structured documentation

• Standardise training processes across teams

• Translate operational procedures into clear training content

Training Monitoring & Reporting

• Track training-related metrics using Excel or similar tools

• Monitor training completion and basic performance indicators

• Prepare simple reports to support training evaluation

Continuous Improvement

• Support initiatives to improve training effectiveness and operational efficiency

• Provide feedback and recommendations based on training observations

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field

• Basic understanding of electronics, circuit systems, or automation concepts

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a structured manner

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring is an advantage

• Candidates with strong engineering background but without prior training experience are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
