Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the acceptance and rejection of specimens, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and manage temperature- or time-sensitive specimens, ensuring proper handling within established protocols
• Perform data management activities, including processing surveillance forms/records and entering data into laboratory systems (e.g., LIS)
• Coordinate specimen reception and inventory management, including:Tracking suppliesLiaising with vendorsDistributing materials to external healthcare providers and outbreak teams
• Support specimen transfer processes within the organisation in accordance with SOPs
• Assist with any other lab-related operational duties as assigned
