Role Overview

As part of our continued growth,we are looking for a Junior Broker to join our Tanker team in Singapore.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. While prior shipbroking experience is an advantage, it is not essential — what matters most is your drive, interpersonal skills, and appetite to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Provide day-to-day support to Brokers across all desk activities.

·      Maintain databases, prepare market information,and produce client reports.

·      Manage the internal flow of key market intelligence.

·      Continuously develop knowledge of the Tankers market.

·      Produce internal and external reports, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.

·      Assist with administrative tasks, including emails, contracts, and correspondence.

·      Handle queries and help build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.

·      Carry out additional duties and ad hoc projects as required.

·      Attend client meetings and industry events.

Job Requirement

Requirements:

·      Genuine interest in shipping and shipbroking.

·      Previous shipbroking exposure/experiencedesirable but not essential.

·      Excellent written and verbal communicationskills, with fluency in English.

·      Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to performunder pressure.

·      Personable, engaging, and confident in buildingstrong professional relationships.

·      Excellent attention to detail with a focus onaccuracy.

·      Strong numeracy and presentation skills.

·      Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel,PowerPoint, Word).
