Job Description

Responsibilities

About Us

Singapore Special Education Centre (SSEC) is a professional child development and special education institution dedicated to providing individualized intervention and educational support for children with diverse developmental needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language delay, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges.

SSEC is a member enterprise under Harperstone Business International College and works closely with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver evidence-based intervention programs and educational support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group teaching support for children with special learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support children in communication, social interaction, behavior management, and learning development
• Conduct classroom observations and maintain student progress records
• Collaborate closely with parents, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare teaching materials and intervention plans
• Participate in case discussions, training, and professional development activities

Requirements

• Diploma / Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or related fields
• Candidates holding a Diploma / Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education awarded by Harperstone Business International College will have an added advantage
• Candidates with experience supporting ASD, ADHD, speech delay, or learning difficulties are preferred
• Passionate about working with children with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin will be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ABA-based intervention, inclusive education, or early intervention programs
• Relevant teaching or intervention experience in Singapore
• Fresh graduates with passion in special education are welcome to apply
