Senior Finance Systems Analyst / Financial Reporting Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst / Financial Reporting Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities across the business. This role sits between Finance and IT, focusing on reporting automation, dashboarding, ERP data analysis, and translating business requirements into reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and analytical models
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budget vs actual analysis, P&L and balance sheet reporting
• Work with Finance and IT teams to extract, validate, and analyse data from ERP systems and databases
• Build and automate reporting solutions using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools
• Improve reporting processes, data integrity, and operational efficiency
• Support ad-hoc financial and management reporting requests

Key Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and corporate finance concepts
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Strong Excel skills including Power Query, pivots, and financial modelling
• Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, and reporting/dashboard tools such as Power BI
• Experience building reports, dashboards, forecasting models, and reporting automation solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
