  • Experience with ROS/ROS2, MATLAB/Simulink, or robotic simulation tools
  • Familiarity with sensors, actuators, encoders, and robotic hardware integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate control algorithms for surgical robotic systems
  • Develop motion control, trajectory planning, kinematics, and dynamic modeling solutions
  • Implement robot control software for real-time embedded or Linux-based systems
  • Improve robot accuracy, stability, responsiveness, and safety performance
  • Develop algorithms for force control, impedance/admittance control, and sensor fusion
  • Integrate robotic control systems with imaging, navigation, and perception modules
  • Conduct simulation, testing, calibration, and performance evaluation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and clinical teams during system integration and verification
  • Support regulatory documentation, risk analysis, and verification activities for medical devices
  • Participate in prototype development, lab testing, and clinical evaluation support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in surgical robotics, medical devices, or safety-critical systems
  • Knowledge of force/torque sensing and haptic systems
  • Experience with computer vision or image-guided robotics
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
  • Understanding of medical device development standards and regulatory processes
