Job Summary
You will program, set up, and operate machines using Hurco, Fanuc controls to produce precision parts. You will apply threading knowledge and material specifications to control machining time, improve tool life, reduce costs and cycle time, and ensure on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate machines using Hurco, Fanuc, and Mazak control systems to meet production targets
- Apply knowledge of threading types including metric, inches, ACME, and Buttress to produce accurate components
- Use ISO standards and quality control procedures to maintain product quality and compliance
- Plan and execute process and production activities to optimize workflow and efficiency
- Interpret and apply material specifications such as AISI4140, 4340, INCONEL 625, 718, Brass, and Bronze in machining operations
- Monitor and control machining time to increase tool life and reduce wear
- Implement cost reduction strategies and cycle time improvements to enhance productivity
- Ensure on-time delivery of finished products by coordinating production schedules
- Adapt to work long hours and alternative shifts as required to meet production demands
Preferred competencies and qualifications
