Job Title: Senior Accountant, GL

What you’ll be doing:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with HKFRS/IFRS, local GAAP, and company policies.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other GL schedules with good accuracy and control.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unusual variances or outstanding items in a timely manner.

• Support the preparation of financial reports, audit schedules, and statutory filing related documents.

• Partner with internal stakeholders across business and operations teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure completeness of financial records.

• Assist in statutory audits and work closely with external auditors and internal finance stakeholders to support smooth audit execution.

• Participate in accounting process improvement, SOP documentation, and system enhancement or ERP-related projects as needed.

• Provide day-to-day operational support and contribute to ad hoc finance projects assigned by the Finance Manager.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or audit, preferably with solid exposure to General Ledger accounting.

• Hands-on experience in month-end closing, journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial schedule preparation.

• Familiar with Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, HKFRS, and local statutory audit and filing requirements.

• Experience in handling full set of accounts and supporting Hong Kong statutory audits is highly preferred.

• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite will be an advantage.

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Good command of written and spoken English; Cantonese and Mandarin are preferred.
