Client Location Kuala Lumpur

Work Mode –Onsite (Work from Office)

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Description (JD)

· Deep knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain complex mainframe applications efficiently.

· Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

· Ensures high quality, accuracy, and compliance in coding, testing, and documentation to maintain system stability and reliability.

· Demonstrates flexibility in handling changing business priorities, evolving technologies, and modernization efforts.

· Works effectively with cross-functional teams, including business, operations, and testing teams, to achieve shared objectivesTakes responsibility for assigned tasks, delivers on commitments, and ensures timely completion of deliverables

· Good Communication Skills

Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

· Equivalent technical certifications or diploma in mainframe technologies may be considered for candidates with relevant experience.

Certifications (Optional / Advantageous):

· IBM Certified Specialist – COBOL Programmer

· IBM Mainframe-related certifications (e.g., z/OS, CICS, DB2)

· Any recognized certification in software development, system integration, or banking IT
