Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and debug on PCBAs, assemblies, or systems that fail ICT, functional test, or customer inspection.
- Use tools such as mustimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analysers, and debug stations to isolate failures.
- Identify defective components (ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, solder joints) and perform repair/replacement.
- Interpret schematics, BOMs, test reports, and engineering documents to support fault isolation.
- Document failure symptoms, root causes, repair actions, and maintain accurate repair logs in MES/ERP systems.
- Provide feedback to engineering and quality teams on recurring issues for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with process engineers to verify if failures are due to process, design, or component quality.
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by providing debug feedback during pilot runs.
- Ensure compliance with IPC-610, ESD handling, and other quality standards.
- Maintain tools, fixtures, and calibration for debug stations.
