Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a Data Warehouse migration project (Netezza) within a banking environment. This role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the data migration project
• Define project plan, scope, timeline, and resource allocation
• Manage cross-functional teams (ETL, Data Quality, Data Governance, Business)
• Drive project execution and ensure milestones are delivered on time
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across all workstreams
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and cutover activities
• Ensure data migration completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met
• Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders and management
• Manage vendor coordination and delivery performance
• Ensure proper documentation, audit readiness, and compliance requirements

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT Project Management
• Proven experience leading large-scale Data Warehouse / Data Migration projects
• Strong experience in banking or financial services industry
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery in complex environments
• Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle, ETL processes, and data validation
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Netezza or similar Data Warehouse platforms
• Familiarity with Hadoop / Data Lake environments
• Experience in data governance and data quality frameworks
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification

Pay: RM9,500.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
