Position Overview
Our Client is seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist to drive growth in the training and construction sectors. This role involves expanding client portfolios, promoting specialized courses, and fostering long-term relationships with industry partners.
Core Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new business prospects within the construction, facilities management, and related industries, focusing on companies, subcontractors, and staffing agencies.

- Design and implement strategies to meet monthly sales goals and increase course enrollments, including BCA certification programs, trade testing, and skills enhancement courses.

- Engage with potential clients through visits and presentations, showcasing tailored training solutions to meet their workforce development needs.
*
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, offering expert guidance on certification requirements and training pathways for workers.
*
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding course schedules, registration processes, and renewal procedures.
*
- Explore emerging markets within the construction and built environment sectors, identifying new opportunities for growth.
*
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote courses via events, telemarketing, and digital outreach, while keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
*
- Coordinate with administrative staff to ensure smooth registration, scheduling, and accurate record-keeping of client data.
*
- Prepare and present sales reports, tracking pipeline activities and progress toward targets.

Candidate Profile
*
- Educational background in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields, with a diploma or degree preferred.
*
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the construction or training sectors.

- Familiarity with Singapore’s construction industry or BCA certification processes is advantageous.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a talent for negotiation and relationship building.

- Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently to achieve objectives.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools to manage client information and sales activities effectively.
