About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join an international platform engineering team and contribute to the development of modern cloud-based solutions.

In this role, you will work on building scalable systems, leveraging AWS and cloud-native technologies, while shaping the future of cloud and AI capabilities within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications
• Build and optimize cloud-native solutions using AWS and modern DevOps practices
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, resilient systems
• Contribute to architecture decisions and implementation of event-driven systems
• Ensure cloud security, reliability, and operational best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to team delivery
• Support continuous improvement and innovation within cloud and AI-enabled development processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred) and backend development
• Proven experience with AWS and public cloud environments
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST API design
• Experience with event-driven architecture and pub/sub systems
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab) and IaC (e.g., Terraform, EKS)
• Good understanding of cloud security, resilience, and operational best practices
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI in SDLC or modern AI-supported development practices
• Background in DevOps / DevSecOps
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset
