NUHS Talent Management Intern (Summer)
Duration: June – August (10–12 weeks)

About the Internship:
The Talent Management Intern will support NUHS Group HR in advancing key talent management and talent / HR analytics initiatives. This internship offers hands-on exposure to talent reviews, leadership pipelines, HR analytics, and automation, working closely with senior HR leaders and project teams across the NUHS cluster.
This role is well-suited for students who enjoy working with data, building practical tools, and translating complex information into clean, user-friendly outputs.
Key Projects & Responsibilities
1. Talent Card Development (Core Project)
- Support the design and build of a one-page Talent Card summarising key talent information (e.g. profile, readiness, succession status, development actions)
- Consolidate and clean HR data extracted from existing HR systems into a structured Excel master file
- Use Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables) and VBA macros to:
- Automate data cleaning and formatting
- Generate visually clean, consistent talent cards
- Enable periodic refresh of data with minimal manual effort
- Design layouts that are professional, intuitive, and senior-management ready
2. Talent Review & Succession Analytics
- Support preparation of analytics for talent and succession reviews (e.g. 9-box distribution, succession coverage, utilisation insights)
- Build standard Excel templates and charts that can be reused across functions (Admin, Ops, HR, etc.)
- Assist with data checks, validation, and version control for talent review materials
3. HR Process & Automation Exploration
- Identify recurring manual processes related to HR reporting and talent analytics
- Propose Excel- or VBA-based automation ideas to improve efficiency (no system configuration or policy work)
Preferred Profile
- Undergraduate in Business, HR, Analytics, Economics, Psychology, Data Science, or related disciplines
- Strong interest in people analytics, talent management, or HR consulting
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas; VBA or macros preferred)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and detailed information
- Structured, careful, and able to handle confidential data professionally
- Good written communication and attention to detail
