We’re Hiring: SharePoint SME & Migration Engineer

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint SME & Migration Engineer to lead SharePoint platform architecture, migration strategy, and end-to-end migration execution from SharePoint 2019 On-Premise to SharePoint Online.

The selected candidate will act as the single point of accountability for migration risks, decisions, planning, execution, and post-migration validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end migration from SharePoint 2019 On-Premise to SharePoint Online / SaaS environment

• Define and execute comprehensive migration strategy, including data extraction, trial runs, full migration, and cutover planning

• Manage large-scale migration of documents, case records, and enterprise data

• Ensure data integrity, completeness, and zero data loss through validation and reconciliation processes

• Perform data quality checks, error handling, duplicate resolution, format validation, and correction mechanisms

• Configure and deploy migration tools, utilities, and automation scripts for bulk data migration

• Work closely with stakeholders to minimize business disruption during migration

• Own migration risks, technical decisions, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle

• Support post-migration validation, user acceptance, and operational handover

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant SharePoint migration experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SharePoint 2019 On-Premise to SharePoint Online migration

• Experience managing enterprise-scale data migration projects

• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, SaaS/cloud migration, and migration governance

• Experience with migration tools, automation scripts, data validation, and reconciliation

• Good knowledge of GCC / Government Commercial Cloud environments

• GCC certification or related government cloud exposure will be an added advantage

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
