We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the full set of accounts for a growing SME, with hands-on exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, GST, and month-end closing.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to be a hands-on contributor in a lean team, and is keen to grow with a company entering a new regional growth phase under European ownership.
• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and on time.
• Issue customer invoices, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts professionally.
• Performmonthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Maintaingeneral ledger accuracy and prepare supporting schedules for month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist with quarterly GST submissions and ensure compliance with IRAS requirements.
• Support external audit by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor queries.
• Maintain organised accounting records and filing (digital and hardcopy) in line with statutory retention requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Service) on billing, costing, and payment matters.
• Provide ad-hoc finance and administrative support as required.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts in an SME environment.
• Working knowledge of Singapore GST and basic statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accountingsoftware.
• Hands-on experience with Xero or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / Navision is a strong advantage.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ateam player with good written and verbal communication skills inEnglish.
