We are seeking an experienced and driven Interest Rate Trader to join our Global Markets / Treasury team. This role offers the opportunity to manage and trade G3 and Asian interest rate products, drive market-making activities, and contribute to the performance and profitability of the desk in a dynamic trading environment.

Responsibilities:-

• Execute and manage trading strategies across G3 and Asian interest rate markets
• Trade a range of products including government bonds, IRS, basis swaps, futures, and derivatives
• Monitor macroeconomic trends, central bank policies, and market developments impacting rates
• Provide pricing, liquidity, and market insights to internal stakeholders and clients
• Actively manage trading risk within approved limits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Structuring, Treasury, Risk, and Operations teams
• Identify trading opportunities and contribute to desk performance and profitability
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
• Ensure accurate trade capture, reporting, and reconciliation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in G3 and Asian interest rate trading
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics, fixed income products, and market dynamics
• Proven track record in managing trading books and risk positions
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and trading/risk management systems
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced market environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
• Experience across developed and emerging Asia rates markets
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in trading environments
• CFA, FRM, or equivalent certifications are an advantage
