Summary:

Design Automation Engineers focusing on layout extraction develop and maintain automated signoff flows, integrating tools like Siemens Calibre or Synopsys StarRC to validate PDKs and ensure accurate Parasitic Extraction (PEX).

Key responsibilities include optimizing tool runtime for massive SoCs, troubleshooting LVS (Layout vs. Schematic) failures, and scripting in Python, Perl, or Tcl to automate the verification process.

EDA Tool Expertise: Deep familiarity with industry-standard physical verification and extraction tools (Siemens Calibre or Synopsys StarRC) is mandatory.

Skillset we are looking for:-

1. Extraction (StarRC),
2. Layout verification (Calibre), and /or
3. Custom design construction (Virtuoso) backgrounds.
