Acts as the bridge between business strategy and technology delivery. Translates stakeholder needs into functional specifications, maps business processes, and supports solution design through deployment. Provides first-level functional support by reviewing user-reported issues, validating root causes, and coordinating resolution with technical teams to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

•Conduct gap analysis and propose scalable, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

•Work closely with developers, testers and DevOps during design, development and UAT, and rollout phases to ensure solution alignment with business goals.

•Oversee QA activities and support deployment readiness across environments.

•Provide clear, timely reporting to stakeholders and senior IT leaders throughout the project lifecycle.

•Act as 1st level support for functional issues reported by users – review, validate and document.

•Perform initial root cause analysis and escalate to technical teams when necessary.

•Monitor issue trends and recommend process or system improvements to reduce recurrence.

•Assess the business impact and functional dependencies of legacy application retirement, including downstream systems, data flows, and user processes affected by end-of-life decisions.

•Document transition plans, including replacement systems, archival strategies, and stakeholder communications.

•Partner with architects, development teams, business owners, compliance teams, and CISOs to ensure smooth application decommissioning, including coordination of user training, FAQs, business continuity measures, and Technology Risk Exemption (TRE) documentation; own and drive the end-of-life timeline across stakeholders.

Job requirements:

•Strong experience in financial services domains – payments, loans or credit cards.

•Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, organizational, and time management skill with attention to detail.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

•Familiarity with JSON, RESTful APIs, and Web services for functional validation and integration.

•Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases, as well as Documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Confluence, SharePoint).

•Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments, exposure in testing support and change management are added advantage.

•Some level of understanding of core banking systems or digital channel platforms.
