Assistant Merchandising Manager (Ref# 061264)

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and enhancing business relationships with customers through provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth

• Understand customers' expectation on the requirement of samples and translate it to the production technicians

• Communicate with design team on day-to-day basis for production development and address corresponding issues on mass production

• Work with design team to review and provide comments on the samples

• Involve in product development process to ensure products meet customers' quality and budget requirements

• Provide solutions and support to ensure smooth production and manufacturing process

• Research and analyze market trend of yarn/ fabric

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive prices, deals and terms

• Monitor suppliers performance and bulk fabric quality standard control

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree holder

• Minimum 4 years' relevant experience

• Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process

• Independent, able to work under pressure, result-oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail-minded

• Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines

• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

• Literate in Microsoft Office programs

• Occasional travel is required
