Commodity / Sourcing Specialist
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies / Administration, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within EMS or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of BOM, RFQ, supplier management, and cost structure analysis.
- Good negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Willing to work in Senai, Johor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a commodity team in sourcing activities from initiation to completion for assigned projects, ensuring BOM cost submissions meet timelines and budget requirements.
- Supervise RFQ processes, cost studies, comparisons, and analyses; prepare supplier allocation proposals and coordinate new vendor setup activities.
- Strategically plan and execute RFQ events; participate in cost negotiations to achieve the most cost-effective solutions and support annual cost reduction initiatives.
- Attend internal and external meetings with customers to ensure all stakeholder and customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze and monitor commodity market trends to support sourcing decisions.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
