Position : Software Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,500

Location : Kepong, KL

Working Days / Time : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Specialist to design, develop, and implement customized software solutions that meet customer requirements. The role involves working closely with Application Support and R&D teams to ensure high-quality delivery, system stability, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software products based on customer requirements and specifications
• Engage with customers to discuss new features, enhancements, and customization requests
• Prepare technical documentation such as system customization specification sheets based on customer feedback
• Develop and maintain test data to support various testing scenarios for system updates and releases
• Participate in solution demonstrations for both new and existing customers
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve testing processes and enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Work closely with the R&D team to support system enhancements, customization, and bug fixing
• Provide L1 and L2 support, including troubleshooting and data amendments when required (including after office hours for critical cases)
• Support continuous improvement of product quality and delivery processes
• Perform other tasks and projects assigned by management from time to time

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, application support, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Experience in software testing and test case design/execution
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and customers
• Knowledge of ISO compliance standards, web servers, or virtual machines (VM) is an advantage
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (and Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage)
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
