- Assisting patients throughout their infertility journey.
- Obtain detailed medical history, review medical records and perform appropriate physical examination.
- Collaborate with physician in developing and implementing treatment plan appropriate to individual patient.
- Preparation for patients preparing to undergo In-Vitro Fertilization, and monitor subsequent cycles.
- To identify, prepare and dispense medications and other medical products to patients based on prescriptions from doctors.
- Responsible in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the medication area
- Assisting in all ART Procedures (eg; Oocyte Pick up, Embryo Transfer. IUI, Surgical sperm extraction) and ensure all documentation is completed.
- Assist in weekly stock takes for Medication and Consumables. To inform PIC when stock is low.
- Perform role of liaison for clinical staff and supervising physician to ensure quality medical care and address issues for improvement.
- Provide patient counseling and education throughout their fertility process.
- Assist in teaching and guiding new trainees.
- To ensure high safety and ethical practice standards.
- Maintaining excellent patient care and feedback mechanism.
- Organize, file, and maintain health information in a confidential manner.
- Stay up to date and educated on the latest advances in reproductive technology
Requirement:
- Candidates must possess at least a recognized Diploma in Nursing.
- Must be a state registered nurse (SRN) with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Candidates with 2 - 3 years’ experience.
- Self-motivated, patient oriented and proactive.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and possesses a friendly disposition.
