Position : Application Support Specialist
Salary : RM 3,500 – RM 4,500
Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong
Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri
Job Summary
The Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, system maintenance, and user assistance to ensure smooth operation of software applications for customers. This role focuses on troubleshooting, system deployment, user training, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide application support and system maintenance for customers to ensure smooth business operations.
- Assist in system installation, setup, and deployment for new clients (onsite or remote), including occasional overseas travel if required.
- Participate in standby shifts according to duty roster to provide after-hours support.
- Conduct user training and product demonstrations for both new and existing clients.
- Prepare and maintain user guides, system documentation, and customization records.
- Handle customer enquiries related to POS and application-related technical issues.
- Perform remote troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Track, manage, and resolve support tickets using the ticketing system.
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in application support, IT support, or related roles.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and networking tools is required.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Fast learner with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
- Willing to work on standby shifts and travel when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
