Job Description – Storekeeper

A Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing stock, and ensuring all items in storage are properly organized, recorded, and maintained in good condition.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
• Store items properly in designated storage areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and easy retrieval.
• Maintain accurate records of stock in and stock out transactions.
• Issue stock to relevant departments based on approved requests.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure proper labeling and organization of all stored items.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store/warehouse area.
• Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
• Follow company procedures for inventory control and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of inventory or stock management is an advantage.
• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel or inventory system) preferred.
• Physically fit to handle stock movement when required.
• Willing to work shifts or extended hours if necessary.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
