We're Hiring: MSSQL Database Administrator!

We are seeking an experienced MSSQL Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server database environments. The role focuses on ensuring database performance, availability, security, and reliability while supporting business-critical applications and systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SQL Server administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within enterprise environments.

What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
  
• Monitor and optimize database performance, availability, and reliability.
  
• Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing improvements.
  
• Implement and maintain high availability solutions such as: SQL Server Always On, Replication, Clustering, Failover configurations
  
• Monitor database health and proactively troubleshoot incidents, bottlenecks, and failures.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
  
• Manage database security, user access, roles, permissions, and compliance requirements.
  
• Support database patching, upgrades, migrations, and environment refresh activities.
  
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams to support deployments and integrations.
  
• Create and maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and technical reports.
  
• Support production operations and participate in on-call or rotational support when required.
  
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  
• Proven experience as an MSSQL Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
  
• Strong hands-on expertise in: Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning & Optimization, Database Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  
• Experience with: SQL scripting and query optimization, High availability and disaster recovery solutions, Database migration and upgrade activities
  
• Familiarity with: Windows Server environments, Database security and compliance practices, Monitoring tools and automation scripts
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  
  

Preferred / Advantage:

• Experience with cloud database platforms such as:
  • AWS RDS for SQL Server
  • Azure SQL
  • GCP SQL Server solutions
    
    
• Exposure to automation or scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation practices.
• Microsoft SQL Server certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in banking, manufacturing, healthcare, or enterprise-scale environments is a plus.
